Volunteer in Italy’s serene Regional Park of Montemarcello-Magra-Vara. Help with housekeeping, guest care, and pool maintenance for 20 hours a week in exchange for cozy accommodation, free Wi-Fi, and access to the facilities.

Enjoy two days off weekly to explore scenic walks and hiking trails while gaining hospitality skills.

Tasks

Assist with housekeeping, guest care, reception duties, pool maintenance, garden upkeep, tree care, laundry, painting, and stacking wood.

Accommodation

Stay in a cozy one-bedroom stone house with a kitchen and bathroom. Access laundry facilities and Wi-Fi, but note limited mobile phone coverage. If you come as a pair, you’ll share the same room.

Located in the tranquil forest of Montemarcello-Magra-Vara Regional Park with views of the Gulf of Poets in Liguria.

They can arrange pickup at Sarzana or La Spezia railway stations. Pisa Airport is the nearest, with shuttle and train connections to Sarzana or La Spezia, taking around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Visiting the Ligurian Riviera offers stunning coastal views, charming towns, and delicious cuisine. Popular places to stay are in Cinque Terre, Portofino, or Santa Margherita Ligure for beautiful scenery and a relaxing atmosphere.

Travel between towns by train or ferry for convenience and scenic views. Savor local dishes like pesto Genovese, focaccia, and fresh seafood. Explore hiking trails with breathtaking views, such as the Sentiero Azzurro in Cinque Terre.

Remember to bring comfortable walking shoes, as many areas are best explored on foot. Enjoy the local markets, beaches, and vibrant nightlife.
